Approximately every fourth Thursday during our training program, Endurance House will host a seminar on a topic specifically related to Ironman training and racing. There will be a total of twelve seminars over the course of the year, so by September 7, 2008, you will have learned everything you need to know in order to Become an Ironman.

- Scheduling the triathlon season, prioritization and time-management
- Psychological aspects of triathlon training
- Nutrition for the endurance athlete
November 15: Getting the Right Gear
- What you need (and what you don’t) to train for and successfully complete an Ironman
December 20: Whole-Body Fitness
- Strength training and injury prevention for triathletes
January 23: The Swim Part I
- Stroke analysis, drills to refine technique, and suggested workouts to improve swim performance
February 21: The Bike
- Basic maintenance and on-the-road repairs, and training and racing techniques for the bike leg
March 20: Mastering Transitions
- Logistics and strategy for fast transitions between each event, plus discussion on long course nutrition and an introduction to Block III training
April 17: Racing Triathlon
May 15: The Swim Part II: Open Water (cancelled — moved to June 19)
June 19: Nutrition for Long Course Racing and Open Water Swimming
July 10: The Mental Aspects of Ironman
August 28: Race Day Logistics
